Nikon D50

Nikkor 18-35mm f:3.5-4.5 lens is an analog lens, the sharpness is less than 18-70mm.
I owned one too. In the old days, because it is full frame, this lens is a great lens, but for digital era, i recommend 17-55mm F2.8.

zero5phh, your Tamron 17-50mm f:2.8 is a good lens, problems are:
1. it is slower than Nikkor 17-55mm F2.8.
2. the build quality is much less than Nikkor 17-55mm F2.8.
3. its performance at both extreme apertures are much less that Nikkor 17-55mm F2.8.

But, for the price of Tamron, it is still worth the money.

exactly what I told Pang last night ... kekekekek. And the contrast and color also got differ. But for those who are not into Cari Makan or with tight budget, I can find anything better than Tamron 17-50 f2.8. At least a constant f2.8 lens to start with ~ keke
